The three steps
Choose a target, run the local pass, verify the download. Each step has one decision that matters.
1. Pick the target
Type a MB number or choose a preset. The target is the ceiling the output has to fit under — usually the limit of wherever the file is going.
2. Run the pass
Drop the file in and start. The encoder loads in the tab, the metadata readout confirms what the browser sees, and a slow job can be cancelled.
3. Verify the size
The download arrives with its real size shown. Confirm it clears the destination's limit before you attach or upload it anywhere.
